now that i think about it… i really regret not following my brother around at jump festa. the queue was really long for the square enix booth, so my bro only managed to go to that booth for the whole day. ): i was with xiao hui and most of the time i was looking at the trailers at the squareenix booth instead of going in.

i just want to say one thing though, i’ve never been so happy to be at jump festa until i saw the huge Kingdom hearts BBS wall. ):  i was staring at it the whole time.. and then when they blasted “sanctuary”, i wanted to cry ): it was just so epic.

i didn’t take any photos because my phone died and because they were really strict on photography. but some managed to sneak photos. so i’m going to borrow those now xD

and from what my bro says, if you play all their demos, they will give you a set of free postcards. D8 they are just about he best free gifts at the whole event. i loved the ff13 and KH ones the most. i’ll edit this post with the photos of the square enix stuff and jump festa and maybe more coverage later. or i might make a totally new post. wordpress is not letting me load photos for some reason ):

on another note, maybe i should start playing dragon quest.i’ve finished professor layton 2, save for the secret layton puzzles, but i’ll get to them soon. i found a ranking for top 30 games of 2009. dragon quest IX at the very top, right after pokemon heart gold in 2ndplace. i’m so amazed that the top games this year were for the DS. (: i guess i’ll get those 2 games then XD

JAPAN WAS TOO MUCH FUN.

I’M BACK FROM JAPAN (:

i just woke up after coming home from a morning flight. (: unpacking my stuff now. i’ve bought a heck ons of hings and experienced many things. let me see whether i can sum it up.

DAY 1

we arrived at the narita airport. we had to meet my brother’s girlfriend at shinjuku, so we bought some onigiri and drinks and took the Narita Express straight to shinjuku. our hotel was at ikebukuro. we met xiao hui and we all went to ikebukuro to check in. the uncles there was really nice. (: and then i started to find out how 7 years of anime, manga, drama and idolship in japanese can do to you lol. i was able to communicate with the uncles. XDD

so we got our room number, 509, and headed up. me, my brother and qarissa were staying there. xiaohui and her brother had to go back to xiaohui’s place to sleep. we dropped our luggage in the room and decided to go walk around ikebukuro.

omg, ikebukuro has almost everything you need XD. theres an ANIMATE. 9 floors of anime goodness. MANY doujin and other anime stores, convenience stores, electronics, etc etc.

and then you know what? i saw matsujun… in ikebukuro.

then we went to have tonkotsu ramen for dinner. and headed back to the hotel to rest for the night. (:

DAY 2

we went to akihabara! if i’m not wrong, we ate mcdonalds for breakfast that morning XD there was so many things to look at. and whats more was that on this day that we went, WAS THE DAY OF THE SALE FOR FINAL FANTASY 13. XD EVERYWHERE, literally everywhere was filled with the ff13’s theme song and posters.

i was minding my money abit since it was only the second day, so i didn’t buy as much as i wanted to. miku doll ):.

then we headed to harajuku.

we were supposed to meet xiao hui at harajuku, but she was running late. so we decided to visit the meiji shrine (:

let me tell you, you might think that the birds in anime were exaggerated to the extent that they crow really loudly, but it’s not true. THEY DO CROW REALLY LOUDLY AND SOUND LIKE THEY ARE SAYING “AHO” just like in naruto. D:

we went in to meiji shrine quite late, but we managed to get there to see and i bought some charms to bring home (: i think the temperature then was probably 7 degrees or something.

xiaohui still wasn’t there yet when we went out. so we waited at the harajuku bridge (yes the one that has jrock cosplayers every weekend) and then decided to enter the streets first.

i really wanted to buy so much clothing. ): but i was scared of losing all my money lol. we had crepe. which was the best thing i’ve ever tasted. ):

when you say strawberry cheesecake, they literally put a whole cheesecake into the crepe. D: it was so good.

we were at takeshita dori for awhile and we walked out and who do i find. XD

Hard to see, but yes it’s arashi. XD qarissa has clearer photos because she brought her bro’s epic cam. this pictures are all from my phone at the moment. XD sad to say, i can’t remember where we ate dinner at. ):

DAY3

we went to look at more shrines and stuff.

after this, we wanted to fo to this bamboo shrine that looked really gorgeous on the brochure. D: but we didn’t know how to get there so we walked wih a map.

we walked for a kilometre before reaching the area. we reached the place at 4.15pm. then we saw the place and it said.

“CLOSED AT 4PM.”

._. both my mind and my handphone died.

we were so tired lol. so we took a bus back. japan buses are so confusing. you slot the 100 yen in somewhere else. should have just used my suica. thats like an exlink we use there to travel on trains and stuff. travel fare is bloody expensive ):

we were very close to the sea, so it was freezing cold. the degrees were probably in the minus D: and then we stopped infront of a curryrice restaurant. we didn’t know whether to go in when all of a sudden, this japanese lady came up to us and said.

“これがおいしいよ！” (this place is really good!) then she said something abou how she always walks past this place bu since it was cold, she went in and then she said the curry rice was really nice.

then she asked us whether we all were japanese or not lol. xiaohui said she was a transfer student and the lady thought all of us were. XD in the end, we had really yummy curry rice. <3

we walked around the streets as the shops were closing, and we managed to shop at an NHK character shop (DOMOKUN!) and a studio ghibili shop just right next to it. qarissa bought some stuff there. she and her cats D:

DAY 4

WE WENT TO JUMP FESTA. BUT MY CAMERA DIED. ): SO LETS JUST WAIT FOR QARISSA TO UPLOAD HER PHOTOS AND SEND THEM TO ME AND I’LL DO A PROPER POST ON IT BECAUSE THE EVEN WAS TOO AWESOME FOR JUST THE SUMMARY ALONE. XD

i’ll stop here for now and prob continue the rest of the trip later on in the day. tired lol.

i’ll do another post on disney land to.. well, to put it in a summary, just watched this video of the best ride we took on that day. the tower of terror.

it’s a 90degree vertical drop in a lift. they tell you the story as you go up. and then BOOM. all of a sudden you are looking down on the whole of disney land from far up. they don’t give you any time to think and drop you down, go back up and drop you down again MANY TIMES.

best ride i took in my life. i think qarissa’s too lol.

the story was about an old geezer who stole alot of monuments from different areas and the villagers put a curse on him. he opened up his new hotel but i think died in the lift because it snapped.

thus the whole 90degree in the lift thing.

my parents are also going to malaysia, and my sister and her husband willalso be heading to hong kong. no one in my family will be in singapore for a certain period of time lol.

me and my brother arguing with my mom constantly because she’s so paranoid about so many things :\ tokyo isn’t going to snow, mom. >_>

i also need to finish up packing. but i’ll go and have my breakfast first XD

so i just found out that sho has filming for Tokujo Kabachi in Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Toranomon. won’t it be funny if i managed to get a glimpse of him or any of the other arashi members during their filming around tokyo? XDD especially since they’re currently filming their new drama together.

speaking of dreams.

i’ve been having the weirdest dreams ever. today was a recurring dream of me going out shopping with my family and i went to the basement level to go withdraw some money, but the basement turned out to be some strange red aura place. my bro was with me, he was trying to remember what the place was called, like he had been there before. “devil’s red foot” or something like that lol.

i can’t remember much on what my family members did, but i remember us going to eat, and then having my wallet and phone stolen by pigeons.

yea.

then for some reason, we’re on this stationary train. it has rooms and all the facillities. i don’t know why but i felt really bad, so i went out of the train (every room had a door going out of the train) but was greeted with bubbling green stuff below. D: i jumped onto a ledge and saw a group of people walking in front. i thought that was my family members until i thought to my self.

then for some reason, i’m in yamapi’s body.

as if i’m currently filming for something. so i go back in and look across the train hallway and i see a bunch of people with boom mics and camera recording sets. then i go to my bro’s room.

he was watching tv. but i don’t remember what it was. it made me sick tho. sick and angry. all of a sudden, i know this is going to be odd, but teresa’s name started appearing.

it was a black screen then all of a sudden

“teresa?”

“teresa?”

“teresa lum?”

“teresa lummmmmmm?”

then you hear somebody screaming “TERESAAAAA!!”

another dream i had was that i went into poly and got really bullied by this guy there. D: another involved magic, the characters from CHARMED, a random unicorn and lots of blood. but i’ll save it for another day lol.

i’ll be going to harajuku on the first day in japan already lol. i hope i’m able to see the arashi AUkddi exhibition. 8D and buy a couple of stuff ;3 then we will be heading to chiba after a few days. aiba’s hometown 8D to go to JUMPFESTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

now i have a strong emotional attachment towards roxas. even though he was such an obnoxious brat. he gave axel the winner stick after he left ): and dual wielding roxas owns my life forever D:

it just hit me so hard when riku/ansem finally pushed roxas down. and then in the top screen, you see roxas struggling for his dear life to prove his existance, but in the bottom screen you see roxas, axel and xion happily on the roof together joking. xion then slowly fades away, and it’s like roxas and axel never knew xion existed at all.  and then next scene is the very first scene in KH2.

roxas = “another dream about him” in his PJs.

OMG. i started sobbing then.

then when he said “7 more days til my summer vacation ends.” and when the sanctuary song hit, i cried. ): knowing fully well what will happen to roxas on the 359th day and so on and so forth >:

i just got hit wih a wave of nostalgia XD;

Pokemon is one of my 2 childhood cartoons/anime, but the other one wasn’t digimon (in fact, i hated it). it was monster rancher.

i can’t believe i forgot about it. i used to be such a fan. and for both the playstation games that occured before the anime and the anime itself. i remembered it when i heard that monster rancher was coming to the DS. i screamed D: literally.

i remember i used to play monster rancher everyday for at least half a day. changing discs for monsters @_@

heres the anime. maybe you guys might’ve watched it too but don’t remember. in english dub, because i grew up with it. XD

just the first part.

): being a couch potato today XD all i did was look for DS games to get and characters to cosplay.

i’m going to get proffessor layton, ace attorney, mordern warfare??? XD etc etc. can’t wait to get my cartridge. i hope it comes before my japan trip.

i’ve been wondering whether i should play dragon quest. seeing as how nino and matsujun seems so hyped out about it. i’ve been meaning to try the game out but don’t know where to start. it’s on it’s 5th series already it think.

so then, to find out more info about dragon quest, i bombarded squeenix’s website XD but i couldn’t find dragon quest on it D: until i found out that i was on the NorthAmerica site. so i switched to the japan one.

then i realised that there were tons of games i needed to get. -w-

on the other hand, i love star ocean’s new website. i never realised they added in the international version together.

it surprises me how i’ve never actually told anyone about my blog. it might be because of the fear i get if people find out what i’m feeling >:

have you ever had the kind of feeling whereby you’re expecting something to happen sooner or later. but when it does happen, it leaves you feeling shocked and lost? (Lol, who am i talking to i wonder ): )

i’m so lost, i don’t know what to do >: i’m so bummed that i don’t feel like doing anything, much less go to work. it might be the fever, but…

i hate how everyone does it. it’s surprising how so many people i know are actually involved in it. when you suddenly tell me something like this, i’m too shocked and don’t know what to do.

i love how i’m always accurate according to my gut feeling, but sometimes, i wish i wasn’t always that accurate.

i’ve been doing marathons of tons of things lately D:

3 days ago, i marathoned almost all the d no arashi episodes that i’ve yet to watch. yesterday, i rewatched the whole of yamada taro monogatari again because i felt like watching nino do something D:

now i’m just randomly watching tensai shimura dobutsuen with aiba XD i downloaded one yesterday and there was a small part which featured aiba’s eternal rival, hacchi. a kangaroo. XD

yes, look at that very scared aiba in the background LOL.

the reason i posted about hacchi is because he has passed on yesterday ): on the same day i was reminded of him again after was TSD >: i wonder whether aiba knows.

i think it’s a coincidence or something, but it’s scary D: on the day i let my mother watch that video on the prison inmates in philipines dancing to michael jackson’’s thriller, MJ passed away.

and i was planning on buying this album when i went to tokyo :\ but buying an album just for 2 songs is ridiculous ): guess i’ll just stick to arashi’s 5×10 ALL THE BEST DVD. and i’ll see what other albums/singles come out by then.
